Who we are, who it's for, and who's behind it.
Where it started
The group began in 2017 as a way to bring IT professionals and business leaders together to share what they'd learned about Office 365. Meetings covered things like Teams vs. SharePoint, the Office 365 apps, Power BI and multi-factor authentication. You can see the full list on the Meetings page.
Who should come
If you use Microsoft 365 for work, you're welcome. That includes new users, power users, IT generalists and full-time admins. The point is to swap real experience: what worked, what broke, and what you'd do differently.
Can I speak?
Yes. We want local people presenting on topics members care about. Send us your idea on the Contact page. Talks are reviewed so they stay useful and aren't sales pitches. Your company's logo on a slide is fine; your product as the topic isn't.
Host and sponsors
The group is sponsored and hosted by Sierra Experts, a veteran-owned IT company in Robinson Township, just outside Pittsburgh. Sierra Experts is a Microsoft direct Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and has been an organizing sponsor since the group started. Meetings are held at its office at 2 Robinson Plaza, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
